Scottish Band Tattoo

Today a woman who had gotten a tattoo of her clan badge in Scotland on her honeymoon came to add to it. She chose an intricate Celtic band that I created a new more delicate version of, and then I wove the knot through the ring of the badge buckler to make it a continuous piece. I selectively colored the backgrounds to add a vibrant element, and she now wears a much expanded ethnic tattoo.

The Scots are known to say "If it's nay Scottish, it's CRRRRAP." Well then! This traditional Highland weave is a tattoo pattern that enhances any arm.

Custom Celtic Knotwork Sleeve Cap

Today a man with pre-existing tattoos came to add a framing piece of Celtic knot work to bring them all together into one piece. By adding a bespoke frame that matched the old tattoos in line weight and flow, the arm now presents as a coördinated whole.
