CELTIC KNOT TATTOOS
Knotwork is probably the most popular type of Celtic tattoo design. There are thousands of historic examples to choose from, and I also design new custom knots on a regular basis. Perhaps you have already browsed the LuckyFIsh Art Tattoo Design Store, and you have decided on a knot that you would like to be your next tattoo. Great, that's one difficult decision made, but there are more to be considered . . .
Celtic 'Faithful Heart' Tattoos by Pat Fish
Check out the Celtic knotwork 'Faithful Heart' tattoos above. These are all the same basic knotwork pattern, but they have each been rendered differently in skin.
Now look at the 'Knotwork Shamrock' tattoos below - same thing. The purpose of this page is to educate you, the client, about the various styles available for your Celtic knot tattoo.

And this next example below is the Tree of Life logo of the Welsh artist Jen Delyth, whose beautiful art is sold on her website Celtic Art studio.
She creates gifts of beauty and meaning, with art, myth and symbol.
Celtic Tree of Life by Jen Delyth, Tattoos by Pat FIsh
This tree Jen created in 1989 has resonated with so many people over the past decades that it has been tattooed on thousands of people. It is her business logo.
I encourage people to work with me to customize an original tree of life design for themselves, perhaps finding one in my collection on my LuckyFishArt image sale site and then working to make it unique.
No matter what, even if an artist tries to make two identical tattoos there will always be variations. The point is that the art you choose will be your totem, your logo, for life. And I like to think that with forethought and it will accurately represent an externalization of your internal aesthetics.
And if you are not ready for this as a tattoo, you can get the shirt on my REDBUBBLE store
