This special custom cross includes the Alpha And Omega symbols in the arms of the cross, the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet referenced by Christ in Revelations 1:8. At the top of the cross is the Chi-Ro symbol, a Christogram, superimposing the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ. And in the center is the IHS, another Christogram abbreviation of the Greek name for Jesus. If someone wanted to change this into a dedication cross these symbols could be replaced with the family initial in the center and three children's or family members' initials in the arms.
