Celtic 'Hero' Knotwork Forearm Sleeve Tattoo

The other day I finished up a forearm half sleeve on one of our nation's quiet heroes, a man who is on the front lines of the war against drugs and violence in the mean streets of the inner city. The boldness of the Celtic knot work gives him a powerful gauntlet of intricate weaves with the star pattern conforming to the musculature. It is an adaptation of the pattern shown below that was originally designed for a leg. An interesting exercise, to see the same design and how it can be morphed to cover different body parts.

Tattoo Condom Contest!

Shamrock Claddagh Anklet Tattoo

Dainty and tiny, jewelry that can never be lost or stolen, this claddagh and shamrocks anklet is the perfect expression of this gal's Irish heritage. And the initials? Her husband's, who she predicts will be disapproving. I told her to tell him "Darling, I love you so much I would have gotten your initials as a dedication if you died..... So I'm getting them now so you can show me that you are grateful for my devotion!" And her friend who came along said "And you are safe, if it comes to it you can say it stands for Jesus Christ."

The love a mother feels for her children is infinite, and forever. But sadly this woman's son just passed away at a young age. Today she came in with her daughter and supportive friends and got this tribute tattoo to both her children. Every time she sees it, both of them are present in her heart.
